Our practice offers three different treatment levels with LaseMD, which can be selected depending on your goals and the desired downtime. The LaseMD Glow treatment is completely painless and only results in a slight redness that lasts 4-6 hours and looks similar to a sunburn. This treatment is particularly suitable for treating melasma, clearing acne and for a small „boost“ to skin quality, resulting in improved texture, tone and quality of the skin. However, the LaseMD Glow treatment is not strong enough to remove fine lines or tighten the skin.
If you want to remove significant sun damage, we recommend the LaseMD Refine treatment. The LaseMD Refine treatment is more intensive and is suitable for removing sun damage and fine lines. There may be a „stinging“ discomfort during the treatment, but most patients do not require an anaesthetic cream. The treatment takes about 10 minutes and results in redness and a warm sensation for the rest of the day. The redness looks similar to a sunburn and lasts for 2-3 days. Within 5-7 days, small „coffee powder“ spots will peel off the skin, which can easily be covered with make-up.
The LaseMD Restore treatment is our most intensive treatment and is suitable for removing sun damage and fine lines as well as tightening sagging skin around the mouth, cheeks or décolleté. This treatment results in redness that lasts 5-7 days and causes the top layer of dead skin to flake off.
