Jair Mauricio Cerón Bohórquez M.D. was born and grew up in Colombia, a country with a great enthusiasm for medical aesthetics and plastic surgery and, together with Brazil, one of the pioneers in this field. After graduating from the German School in Barranquilla, he completed his medical studies at the Eppendorf University Medical Centre in Hamburg. There he received comprehensive training in the entire spectrum of surgical oncology and abdominal surgery and, after six years, was recognised as a specialist in visceral surgery. Parallel to his surgical training, he deepened his knowledge in the field of medical aesthetics and built up an international network by exchanging ideas with some of the best experts in this field on four continents and learning about new findings and advances in medical research.
After completing his visceral surgery training, he moved to the Hannover Medical School to specialise in plastic, reconstructive and aesthetic surgery. There he focussed on the study of medical aesthetics and anti-ageing medicine and has since combined this knowledge with minor surgical aesthetic procedures.

His love, passion and dedication to his work drive him to offer his patients the best possible treatments to guarantee them a satisfactory result. In doing so, he draws on his broad and internationally networked expertise to keep abreast of the latest medical research and future trends.

When Marek Swietlik and Mauricio met for the first time in August 2009, they quickly discovered their shared passion for aesthetics. After a glass of wine and an initial idea, they decided to combine their individual skills and give their passion an appropriate space. Although it was initially just a thought experiment, they both felt they had reached a crossroads in their previous careers, where creativity, joy and enthusiasm were lacking. Their desire to go their own way, to realise their ideas and to work with enthusiasm and passion grew stronger and stronger and drove them to create their own project.
After a long search, they finally found the perfect property for their practice, which emphasised their passion for aesthetics with clear lines and Hanseatic elegance. They opened Medical Contour in the modern Hafencity district and quickly received many satisfied patients. However, they soon realised that they needed to expand in order to be able to offer their entire repertoire. After further searching, they were finally able to move into their new premises in a prime city centre location between the Alster and Elbe rivers. Along the way, they received a lot of support and encouragement from everyone involved, especially their patients.

Irene Karich discovered her passion for high-quality aesthetic treatments and holistic skin health early on. After completing her Abitur, she earned her Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences from HAW Hamburg in 2014, laying the scientific foundation for her current work. Even during her studies, she began to intensely engage with modern, equipment-based, and skin-improving treatment concepts, developing a pronounced understanding of skin physiology, prevention, and sustainable results.
Since then, she has been continuously active in aesthetic medicine and professional skin treatment, constantly expanding her knowledge. Her NiSV certification means she meets the highest professional standards when working with energy-based systems and modern technologies. She places particular emphasis on precise, structured work and individually tailored treatment concepts that combine medical quality with aesthetic sensitivity.
Irene Karich and Marek Swietlik met in a professional setting in 2017, where they quickly bonded over their shared passion for quality, innovation, and attention to detail. With her highly structured, conscientious, and analytical approach to work, Irene is now a key member of the Medical Contour team. Her precision, demand for perfection, and deep understanding of modern treatment methods significantly contribute to providing patients with the highest level of care and achieving lasting results.

Santie Ballesteros Caubang, born in the Philippines, boasts over 30 years of international professional experience. Her life journey has taken her through various cultures and countries, including Lebanon, Dubai, and Cyprus, before finally finding her professional home in Germany. These diverse experiences have shaped not only her organisational skills but also her particular sensitivity in dealing with people.
For many years, Santie held positions of responsibility, where she coordinated households, processes, and personal matters with great care, discretion, and reliability. She now brings this experience to her role at Medical Contour, where she plays a central role in the daily running of the practice as a team assistant. With her exceptional organisational skills, she ensures behind the scenes that all processes run smoothly and that both patients and the team feel well looked after at all times.
Marek Swietlik and Mauricio have known Santie since the early days of Medical Contour. Since then, she has become a permanent and indispensable part of the team. With her warm, friendly personality, her steadfast reliability, and her positive aura, she significantly shapes the atmosphere of the practice. For many, she is far more than just an organisational pillar – she is the heart and soul of the establishment, creating special moments in the daily practice routine with small gestures, such as her freshly prepared ginger tea each day.

Mara Fritsche is the newest member of the Medical Contour team and greets our patients with an open, warm, and professional manner. Her passion has been aviation for many years – she spent most of her professional life in the skies, developing a keen sense for excellent service, proactive action, and confident interaction with all sorts of people. She now brings this experience to our practice, lending the reception area a unique blend of lightness, structure, and hospitality.
Marek and Mauricio have known Mara for a few years and have found every encounter with her to be exceptionally positive and inspiring. This appreciation led to the desire to bring her into the team as support and integrate her strengths into the daily practice routine. As a receptionist, she is often the first point of contact for our patients – with her consistently friendly smile, her outgoing personality, and her keen sense of service, she ensures that one feels welcome and well looked after from the very first second.
Mara Fritsche is service-oriented, reliable, and highly motivated to support our team with all organisational matters at reception. She maintains an overview even during busy periods, communicates clearly and appreciatively, and creates an atmosphere where professionalism and warmth go hand in hand. With her positive energy, natural friendliness, and radiant smile, she is a valuable asset to Medical Contour – both at the reception desk and for the entire team.
